All Databases and All Guides: Navigating EBooks

Navigating Ebooks

Navigating Reference Ebooks

We have a large collection of reference ebooks available for research. These books are available as multi-user ebooks, meaning that multiple people can read the same book at the same time.

As with print books, you can use the index or table of contents to navigate the books, but you may also do a full-text search to find mention of your topic, event, or person.

Many curated reference guides, such as this one about the Civil War, include a collection of curated ebooks related to the research topic. To find more of these guides, go to the relevant subject page (such as Social Sciences or English) to find a list of guides.

Or you can visit this page, for a complete list of reference ebooks organized by subject.

Our ebooks are available from a few different publishers. The information below gives tips and tricks for navigating different publishers.
