Canned Media Center Lessons

No prep. No planning. Just sign up. 

  • Media Center lessons about information literacy.

  • Current offerings: 
    • AI Detective
      • Students will explore tips and tricks to identify audio, images, and video made by AI. 
    • Burst Your Bubble 
      • Students will explore the way social media algorithms feed confirmation bias and create filter bubbles. We will brainstorm ways to burst their bubbles and get out of the echo chamber.

Media Center After School

Clubs or student groups who would like to reserve the media center after school must email Ms. Granados (kgranados@shrewsbury.k12.ma.us) to reserve the space.  You will be expected to:
  • have a teacher present
  • clean up after, including pushing in chairs and returning furniture to the correct location.
