For Your Impact Project

The SIT Impact project, a student directed learning opportunity, was designed to give students

  • More authority in their own learning

  • Practical skills for use beyond the classroom
  • Opportunities to make an impact by reaching out and sharing with others beyond the SIT class

The assignment is to select a pathway for a personal project and create a visually appealing digital portfolio as evidence of your work on a Google Site. 

You may partner with others in the class on this project, but you will need to determine if you can successfully work together remotely.

Explore topic ideas instructions (Step 1): 

  1. Click on this link to make a copy of the Explore Topics slideshow in your Google Drive.

    1. Rename the slideshow to "(last name) Explore Topics"
  2. Choose 4-5 topic paths
    1. Choose 4-5 Slides
    2. Respond thoughtfully and completely to the questions on the slides
  3. Share your slideshow
    1. Make sure that anyone with the link in Shrewsbury Public Schools can access your slides
    2. Copy and paste the link to this document (Next to your name in the pink column)
  4. Begin to narrow down your project path. Move to step 2 - Choose a Topic.

  • OR find a way to give back and support our community

Others may want to use this as an opportunity to prepare for the CompTIA IT Certification.
